Miami Aqua Tours: Unique Corporate & Private Events on the Water

Miami Aqua Tours opened its doors in 2000, at that time being the ONLY boat in the city and the exclusive option for events on the water. We started with the Millennium Lady, the only floating restaurant in Miami at the time, a pioneering concept that continues to this day. This restaurant featured a piano bar on a luxurious Skipper Liner. SkipperLiner was with us on this innovative journey and was a fundamental part of the project. Our first partner was the Hyatt Regency Miami, then led by Rodrigo Trujillo, who offered our boat as an extension of their hotel. We also opened the doors of the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Miami, and hosted events for large companies and hotels, including Burger King, Novartis Pharma, ExxonMobil, JW Marriott, and Banco Santander, who trusted us for their Christmas and incentive events.

As time went on, we adapted to the needs of Miami, bringing the only pirate ship to the city, which arrived in the Sunshine City from Sandusky, Ohio, sailing the Mississippi River to Biscayne Bay. This allowed us to offer a fun and accessible experience for all ages.

Another one of our gems was the Heritage of Miami, a majestic 80-foot sailboat where we created the exclusive Sunset Champagne Cruise, which departed from Eden Roc Miami Beach, offering unlimited champagne and appetizers on a spectacular sunset tour.

In December 2024, we innovate again with the opening of the Michael B Meli, a unique ferry that arrives from Boston to stay in Miami. It will be the first floating sushi restaurant in the city, with a maximalist and “Instagrammable” environment, where we will host exclusive events in Biscayne Bay. Aboard the Michael B Meli, Ehomaki Sushi will operate, a restaurant already successful in various cities in Colombia and soon opening in Mexico, bringing its high-end Japanese cuisine in a unique setting on the water. This new experience promises to be ideal for corporate parties, incentive events, and Christmas celebrations.
