On Saturday, May 24, 2025, the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) will host a special edition of its beloved Art Storytime series, titled “Fanmi Pap Janm Pedi” (Family Never Gets Lost), as part of Haitian Heritage Month. This free bilingual event is specially designed for young children (pre-K) and their caregivers, offering a morning of discovery, storytelling, and cultural celebration.

The session centers on the 2021 artwork Sé Sou Ou Mwen Mété Espwa m #1 by Haitian-American artist Widline Cadet. This piece sets the stage for thoughtful exploration around family, memory, identity, and resilience—key themes that resonate within Haitian culture and beyond.
